Challenge:

The community relied on an old, impassable dirt road that became unusable during rainy seasons, limiting access to markets, schools, and health centers. The government sought a durable solution that would improve accessibility and support local economic activities.

Solution:

All In One Engineering Services Ltd was contracted to rehabilitate and upgrade the road into an all-weather gravel road. Works included:

  • Earthworks and roadbed preparation

  • Drainage installation with culverts

  • Gravel surfacing and compaction

  • Road signage and safety markings

Outcome:

  • 15 km of road rehabilitated and completed ahead of schedule

  • Reduced travel time by 60% for locals

  • Improved access to markets, boosting local trade and agriculture

Impact:

This project improved the quality of life for over 20,000 residents, enabling farmers to transport produce efficiently, students to reach schools safely, and health services to become more accessible.
